Project 365: Day 6

On a lovely trip to drop my good friend Dave off at the airport, The Frazz and I took Little Frazz to an indoor playground. I sort of love this shot...yay new 50 mm for your awesomeness. I'm wishing I had the aperture set at 2.2ish instead of 1.8. I think that's why part of her face is a little fuzzy...or it could just be I didn't set the right focal point. BAH. Photographers? Help?

Been meaning to get some new  portraits of your little ones? Perhaps you're recently engaged and want to share the moment with your family and friends? You're in luck! What a sweet photo! :)

Yep you are right the fuzziness on part of her face is because of the low fstop. Looks like you focused on the left eye and because the right side of her face is further away from the focal point it is a little blurred.

Eek! I just sounded like a total photo dork! Here's an article that helped me understand aperture and depth of field:

P.S. You are going to L.O.V.E. your 50mm lens!!
