This is a picture I took when I was playing around with images to make a blurry background. It's not perfect but it's not too shabby either!
Don't even ask why I have a pumpkin and a puppy pencil on my desk. I couldn't tell you.

that's a cute looking pencil ya got goin on there! great color overall!
and a fine use of depth of field IMO. I like how the pumpkin gives a splash of color but doesn't distract too much from the focus of the picture.
And the pic is a bit out of focus. Is there a reduce hand vibration setting on the camera? Turn that on and also buy a tripod. tripods are amazing :)
I have this IS thinger that should help with that but sometimes? not so much haha. Thanks for the tip!
